Dear Mr. Dormandi,

I have just read your THE HAUNTED HOUSE in the November issue of Esquire, with a great deal of enjoyment. Of course, as a literary agent, it interests me; and I should like to know what other fiction you have written and what, perhaps, you are intending to write. If you are free to consider the suggestion, I should like to have the opportunity to handle some, at least, of your future work.

I have had considerable experience in this field, in which for a number of years I have represented A. J. Cronin, Anita Loos and others. I work, of course, in the usual ten percent commission basis.

Sincerely,

Jacques Chambrun
